Commitment to Accessibility

AdviseInc is committed to ensuring that the AdviseInc Platform is accessible to all users, regardless of ability or technology.

We strive to provide a digital experience that is inclusive and usable for everyone and are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our platform in line with recognised accessibility standards.


Accessibility Standards

The AdviseInc Platform has been designed and developed with accessibility in mind and aims to conform with the:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
  • Equality Act 2010 requirements relating to accessibility and reasonable adjustments
  • Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 where applicable to our NHS and public sector customers


How Accessible is the Platform?

The Platform includes features designed to support accessibility, including:

Navigation and Structure

  • Consistent page layouts and navigation across the platform
  • Clear headings and page structures
  • Logical keyboard navigation
  • Skip-navigation functionality where appropriate

Visual Accessibility

  • Appropriate colour contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Responsive design supporting desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Text that can be enlarged using browser zoom functions without loss of functionality
  • Clear and readable fonts

Screen Reader Compatibility

  • Use of semantic HTML and labelled controls where applicable
  • Alternative text provided for meaningful images
  • Descriptive page titles and labels
  • Support for commonly used screen readers

Keyboard Accessibility

  • Core platform functionality can be accessed using a keyboard
  • Visible focus indicators to assist keyboard users
  • Logical tab order throughout key workflows

Forms and Data Entry

  • Clearly labelled form fields
  • Accessible validation messages
  • Instructions provided where user input requirements may not be obvious


Known Accessibility Limitations

While we aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, some areas may not yet fully comply. Examples may include:

  • Certain legacy reports or exported documents may not be fully accessible.
  • Some third-party integrations or embedded content may have limited accessibility controls outside of AdviseInc's direct management.

We are actively reviewing and improving these areas as part of our ongoing development roadmap.


Compatibility

The AdviseInc Platform is designed to be compatible with:

  • Recent versions of Microsoft Edge
  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari

The platform is also designed to support assistive technologies including:

  • JAWS
  • NVDA
  • VoiceOver
  • Dragon NaturallySpeaking (where supported by the browser)

We welcome feedback regarding the accessibility of the AdviseInc Platform.

  • Alternative data exports where technically feasible

Accessibility is an ongoing process. AdviseInc regularly reviews Platform, customer feedback, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.

Accessibility considerations form part of our design, development, testing, and release processes to ensure that new features continue to support the widest possible range of users.
