New Features and Enhancements

We continually evolve Platform with a roadmap of development that we’ll release over the next 12 months. We’ve highlighted some of the new features in this latest release below for you.

#1 - Route Switch by Cost Centre 

What is it?

You can now view Route Switch opportunities by Cost Centre, highlighting where switching from direct to NHS Supply Chain at Band 1 pricing could generate savings. This shows exactly which cost centres would be affected and the potential benefit of making the change. 

Why have we done this?

Route Switch has already saved teams hundreds of thousands of pounds. This enhancement makes it easier to see potential savings by cost centre, without the need for multiple reports. We know some route switches aren’t feasible at an organisational level - this new page helps teams focus in on where changes are possible.
    

Where can I find this in Platform?

1. From the Navigation Panel on the left, click “Analyse”

2. Select “Route Switch”

3. Along the top of the page, select the orange button “Cost Centre”

This page shows your opportunities for the last 12 months. Use the filters in the top right or within tables to refine your selection, including to desired categories, cost centres or suppliers.

#2 - See your team’s usage of Platform

What is it?

A new page is available to Heads of Procurement*, showing how frequently your team is signing into  Platform.

Why have we done this?

Because it gives you visibility into how your team uses Platform - who’s getting the most value, where adoption is strong, and where there’s room to grow.

Where can I find this in Platform?

1. From the Navigation Panel on the left, click “Manage”

2. Select “Usage”

3. You can view this as an organisation or Group

Along the top, under the KPIs, you will see when this page was last updated
